A native of California, I attended California State University, Northridge, receiving a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I received my license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2001. I trained in community mental health clinics providing intensive mental health services to children, adolescents, and their families.
